C1.1 and C1.2 — the same content, twice through

Unlike B1's split (different grammar each half) or B2's split (same grammar, no new grammar), C1's own source describes both halves as the same kind of work — presentations, discussion, complex topics — run through twice, at increasing depth.

Where this comes from. Quoted below from Lest Best's C1.1 and C1.2 course pages, cross-confirmed by Volksuniversiteit Amsterdam ("NT2 Vergevorderd 2, C1.1–C1") and Platform C, both of whom also split C1 into two. Full citations at the bottom.

What about C2.1 / C2.2?

Short answer: we couldn't confirm it, and said so rather than filling the gap.

Platform C's own full ladder (A0 through C2, checked directly on their site) splits B1, B2 and C1 into .1/.2 halves — and shows C2 as one undivided level, the only main level that isn't split.
Lest Best's C1.2 page says a positive result lets you move on to "de cursus C2.1" — so the name is real and in use — but no live C2.1 or C2.2 course page could be found to confirm its content, duration, or whether C2.2 exists at all.
This matches what's already on record in the NT2 Competency Framework used to plan this roster's lessons: C2 is treated as a rare, largely academic/interpreting-track target, not standard private-tutoring content.

Conclusion: C1.1/C1.2 is solid, cross-confirmed, real. C2.1/C2.2 is a name in circulation at one provider, not a confirmed course. Worth a direct call to Platform C or Lest Best if a specific student ever needs this — not worth treating as settled fact until then.
